Teapot and creamer by Podmore & Walker, decorated in the firm’s richly saturated flow blue. The paneled bodies are finished with delicate molded bases and angular handles, the teapot capped with a pointed finial. The transfer decoration shows romanticized pastoral landscapes softened by the flowing cobalt glaze, typical of Podmore & Walker’s mid-19th century output.
