Set of fourteen flow blue berry bowls in assorted patterns.
This assembled set of fourteen flow blue berry bowls includes examples from both Stanley Pottery Co. and Henry Alcock & Co., reflecting the rich variety of Staffordshire production at the turn of the 20th century. Each bowl features scalloped rims with cobalt floral transfers, softened through the flow blue process into the semi-porcelain ground. Variations in floral motifs and borders distinguish the two makers, yet the cohesive cobalt palette and Victorian styling tie the set together. These bowls were produced as part of larger dinner services, intended for fruit, dessert, or light fare.
Appear to be free from chips or cracks.
