C-18380

c. 1982; Dave Grossman Designs, Inc. – Licensed by The Saturday Evening Post Co. Hand-painted porcelain figurine marked RCC-2, titled The Diary, and designated as Special Club Edition No. 2. This charming figure portrays a young boy perched on a stool, absorbed in reading a bright pink diary-a moment of mischievous curiosity lifted from Norman Rockwell’s Saturday Evening Post cover dated March 21, 1942. The underside bears dual seals from The Saturday Evening Post and the Norman Rockwell Society of America, confirming it as a limited-membership collectors’ issue. Produced in Japan for Dave Grossman Designs, the RCC (Rockwell Collectors Club) figurines were exclusive to society members and known for their fine enamel detailing, accurate sculptural translation of Rockwell’s artwork, and small-batch production quality.

Excellent overall with crisp paint, intact glaze, and only faint shelf wear to base felt pads. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
