c. 1940s; Roseville Pottery Co. – Zanesville, OH Matched pair of Art Deco-era Roseville vases, each showcasing the company’s signature high-relief floral work and softly blended matte glazes. The Water Lily pattern basket (No. 381-10) features sculpted blooms in pink and lavender with green leaves against a soft tan and aqua ground, accented by a flowing, curled handle. The Magnolia pattern vase (No. 183-6) presents creamy white blossoms with pink buds over an amber and brown glaze, anchored by stylized branch handles. Founded in 1890, Roseville Pottery became one of America’s most celebrated art potteries, known for its refined handcraftsmanship and distinctive naturalistic motifs. The Water Lily and Magnolia patterns, introduced in the early 1940s, were among the company’s final and most beloved lines before closing in 1954.

Both pieces display light surface wear and faint base discoloration typical of age; no visible chips or repairs.
