Lot 262:
Description
C-17631
This small triangular arrowhead, measuring 2" in length, was hand-chipped from a light-colored stone through traditional flintknapping methods. Such projectile points were hafted onto wooden shafts and used for hunting game, serving as both a vital tool for survival and an artifact of early Native American craftsmanship.
The arrowhead shows flake scars from knapping along the edges, with a slightly asymmetrical form that reflects its handmade origin. It is presented in a protective display box for preservation.
