c. 1910s-1920s; South Bend Malleable Range Co. – South Bend, Indiana Cast iron advertising egg separator embossed "The South Bend Malleable Range – Always Preferable" around the rim. The design features a central cup with draining slots, intended to separate egg whites from yolks, with an integrated handle and hanging hole. This combination of utility and advertising reflects how stove manufacturers promoted their products through practical kitchen premiums. The South Bend Malleable Range Company was an important Midwestern producer of cast iron and steel kitchen ranges in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, marketing their products heavily through household accessories like this.
Displays an even aged patina with minor surface wear consistent with use; fully legible lettering and intact form.
