Group of Northern Pacific Railway promotional and employee-related items featuring the company’s famous yin-yang "Monad" logo. Lot includes: • 1974 brass Northern Pacific Railway belt buckle by Lewis Buckle Co.. • Two enameled lapel pins in red, black, and white logo styles. • "1953 Safety Campaign" pin with red buffalo silhouette. • Pair of locomotive-form cufflinks with enameled Northern Pacific RR plates. • Matching locomotive tie clip and lapel clip with enamel detailing. The Northern Pacific Railway (operating 1864-1970 before merging into Burlington Northern) was one of the great transcontinental railroads of the American West. Their distinctive "Monad" logo, first adopted in 1941, became one of the most recognizable symbols in railroad advertising and branding. Promotional items such as these were distributed both to the public and to employees, reinforcing the company’s image of modernity and reliability.
Overall condition shows light wear, minor enamel losses, and age patina, but all pieces remain intact and collectible.
