Handwoven Native American coiled basketry container with fitted lid, constructed from tightly wrapped natural plant fibers and decorated with geometric banding in muted earth tones. The low, circular form features a domed lid with concentric coil work radiating outward, while the sides are adorned with repeating triangular motifs in shades of brown, tan, and reddish-orange. The underside reveals additional dyed fiber accents in green, red, and purple tones, highlighting the layered coil construction and careful weaving technique.
Shows light age-related wear including minor fiber breakage and slight discoloration consistent with age and use. Overall structure remains stable with the lid fitting neatly into the base.
