Group of ten antique corn dryers constructed from forged iron strips fitted with projecting barbs along each side. Each link features a central spine with alternating angled barbs and flat connection tabs at either end, allowing the pieces to be joined together through punched holes to form longer sections.
The barbs are long and sharply tapered, measuring roughly five inches in length.
Shows moderate age-related wear including oxidation, surface pitting, and accumulated patina consistent with outdoor use. One link is missing a barb on one side, while the remaining examples retain their original projections and connection tabs.
