Group of vintage tinplate toy train cars representing several classic American railroads and toy train makers. The assortment includes a red Nickel Plate Road No. 956 caboose, a yellow Wabash gondola-style freight car, a silver Santa Fe / Middle States Oil tanker car, a red coal hopper marked Pennsylvania Coal Co., a green C.R.I.&P. (Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific) gondola, and two Lionel flatbed cars finished in maroon and cream with embossed lettering. The cars feature lithographed tin bodies, stamped metal frames, and hook couplers typical of mid-century toy train production.
Shows moderate to heavy wear from age and play including paint loss, surface oxidation, and dirt accumulation. Some cars are missing wheels or have incomplete running gear as shown in the photographs. Structural integrity varies but pieces remain suitable for restoration, display, or parts.
