Brass desk inkwell with pierced overlay panels set against luminous green stained glass, each side framed by a squared architectural border and resting on four spherical ball feet. The hinged domed lid features a stylized floral motif in low relief, opening to reveal a circular brass collar and inset well. The sides display an organic vine-and-flower pattern in openwork brass, backed by variegated green glass that shifts from deep emerald to milky celadon under light. The underside edge is clearly stamped “TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK, ” confirming studio production. Compact and jewel-like in scale, the piece reflects the Art Nouveau preference for naturalistic line and material contrast, where warm brass structure and glowing stained glass work in deliberate harmony.
Shows age-appropriate patina to the brass surface with minor surface wear throughout. The bottom glass panel appears to have been repaired, visible upon close inspection. Hinge operates smoothly and lid seats properly.
