Pair of dark brown glazed stoneware crocks in squat and tall cylindrical forms, each with a thick rolled rim and straight-sided body. The glaze presents a deep espresso tone with subtle tonal variation, revealing faint throwing lines and soft surface undulation beneath the finish. Both pieces are unadorned—purely utilitarian vessels shaped for storage rather than display.
Both show age-appropriate wear including minor glaze roughness along rims, scattered scuffs, and light surface abrasion; no major structural cracks observed. Taller crock has a tacky residue on exterior surface.
