Description

C-19152

Group of three tall bud vases in contrasting glass finishes: one emerald green example with a smooth, elongated baluster form and flared base; one clear pressed glass vase with a tapering column and repeating diaond point pattern; and one opaque sky-blue example echoing the same geometric relief with a satin, almost slag-like surface character. Each rises from a stable circular foot to a narrow neck with a gently flared rim, emphasizing height and verticality.

The green vase is sleeker and more fluid in silhouette, with subtle molded contouring at the lower body and a high-gloss finish that reads almost bottle-like in clarity. Notably, the green "vase" includes a lid; this is due to it’s prior use as a cologne bottle by Avon. The clear and blue examples share a more structured pressed pattern—crisp, repeating starbursts climbing the body—catching light and shadow in a distinctly midcentury way. Together they present a study in material variation: transparent, translucent, and opaque interpretations of the same decorative vocabulary.

Light surface wear consistent with age; minor base scuffs from shelf use. No major chips or cracks observed.
