Multi-Estate Fall 2025 Auction
Lot 418:
Description
Item SKU: C-17567
Set of eleven unmarked flow blue saucers with scalloped rims and floral motifs.
This group of eleven saucers reflects the popular flow blue style produced throughout Staffordshire during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Each piece features cobalt floral transfers softened into the white semi-porcelain ground, creating the blurred aesthetic that defined the technique. Though unmarked, the design and form align closely with the output of firms such as Henry Alcock & Co. and Stanley Pottery. Their compact size and lightweight build suggest they were paired with teacups, serving as part of a broader tableware set.
Exhibit some stains and crazing.
