c. 1890s-1910s; Henry Alcock & Co. & Stanley Pottery – Staffordshire, England

Set of six mixed flow blue rimmed soup bowls, combining patterns by Henry Alcock & Co. and Stanley Pottery.

Each bowl represents Staffordshire’s late-Victorian flow blue tradition, with blurred cobalt transfers, scalloped rims, and floral motifs that vary across the set. Some bear the "Touraine" pattern of Alcock with urn and blossom sprays, while others carry Stanley Pottery’s designs with similar cobalt flourishes. The grouping highlights the popularity of flow blue across multiple Staffordshire potteries, where semi-porcelain dinnerware was both durable and fashionable for domestic use. Together, these bowls create a cohesive table presence while showcasing subtle variations in maker and motif.
