This lot features two vintage glass bottles. The first is an embossed quart-size milk bottle from the Bowman Dairy Company of Chicago, a well-known regional dairy that operated from the late 19th century until it was acquired by Dean Foods in the 1960s. The second is a clear glass extract bottle with an applied label reading Intense Carnation, likely used for flavoring or medicinal purposes. Together, these bottles represent early-to-mid 20th century commercial glass packaging.
Both bottles are in good vintage condition. The Bowman milk bottle shows some clouding and light surface wear. The Carnation extract bottle retains much of its paper label with some fading and edge loss. No major cracks or chips observed.
