Lot 341:
Description
Item SKU: C-16061
This lot consists of three vintage medicine bottles, including one embossed clear glass bottle, one unmarked rectangular bottle, and one aqua glass bottle retaining its original paper label for Rawleigh’s Cough Syrup. Produced by the W.T. Rawleigh Company of Freeport, Illinois, the cough syrup bottle dates to the early 20th century and reflects the era’s patent medicine trade, when companies marketed proprietary remedies widely across the United States.
The Rawleigh’s bottle retains much of its original label with some fading and wear. The other two bottles are clear and show some cracks/chips in addition to light surface wear consistent with age.
Tallest is 3.5" W x 2" D and 8.75" H
