Huntley and Palmers advertising apron for ginger nut biscuits (or "cookies" for those in the U.S.).
The company was founded in 1822 by Thomas Huntley and George Palmer and became of of the world’s first global brands. One-hundred, eleven years later the company introduced a Quaker character named John Ginger in 1933 to advertise their Ginger Nut biscuits. Ginger Nuts were one of Huntley & Palmers’ top-selling biscuits in the early 20th century.
