1994–1995; Lyric Opera of Chicago – Chicago, IL Framed commemorative poster produced for the Lyric Opera of Chicago 40th Anniversary Season, 1994–95. The design features a stylized theatrical curtain motif rendered in bright orange, yellow, and teal against a deep cobalt blue background incorporating imagery of the Civic Opera House façade. Lower margin credits the design to “Arnoldi.” The bold geometric composition and saturated palette reflect late 20th century graphic poster design associated with institutional arts promotion. Presented under glazing within a black frame with white border surround. Reverse retains fiberboard backing and hanging wire.
Shows scattered scratches, scuffs, and surface wear to the glazing along with minor edge and finish wear to the frame from age and handling. Reverse backing shows light handling wear and scuffing.
