c. late 19th–early 20th century; A.B. Dick Company – Chicago, IL Edison’s Mimeograph No. 4 duplicating set housed in original wooden case with stenciling to lid. Includes roller assembly, ink components, stencil materials, and printed instructions affixed to interior. The Edison Mimeograph, licensed and produced by A.B. Dick, was one of the earliest practical document duplication systems, widely used in offices, schools, and churches before the advent of photocopying.
Wear, scratches, and finish loss to case exterior. Interior shows residue, staining, and material degradation. Paper components are brittle with age. Completeness not guaranteed; contents appear partially present. Not tested. Sold as is.
