c. early–mid 20th century; American manufacture Brass single-arm table lamp with central column, side support, and ring finial. Retains green metal shade with vented fitter and adjustable socket. This form developed from late 19th century oil-burning student lamps and was adapted to electric use as desk lighting became standard in homes and offices.
Outer fabric on electrical cord is frayed. Untested. Surface wear, tarnish, and oxidation present throughout. Sold as is.
