Round linen doily with openwork lace border and raised floral embroidery detail in one quadrant secured to light blue display board. Executed in white thread with a fine woven linen center and The piece is finished with a delicate, intricately knotted border. Lace border was created either through fine crochet (like chain-loop lace) or tatting, attached evenly around the circular perimeter.hand-worked lace edge.
Excellent Condition; shows light age toning and minor creasing from storage. The blue display board shows scattered surface wear and marks along the edges.
