Wood Framed chromolithograph print of a still life print depicting a tabletop arrangement of raspberries in a compote, bread loaf, apples, grapes, bananas, and cheese, titled “A Dish of Raspberries” along the lower margin. The print is housed in a wood frame with pronounced grain and warm brown finish. The original work was painted by J.R. Smith in 1895, This print is thought to be early to mid-20th century.
Fair condition; shows scattered creasing and fold wear throughout the print surface, including small punctures and separation at several fold intersections. Frame shows moderate age wear and finish variation. Backing paper on reverse has tears and punctures from age. Frame remains stable for display.with many creases in the print.
