The bird is perched atop a sculpted log and grassy mound, its alert posture and vivid plumage capturing the poised energy of the young kingfisher species. This model-marked "Boehm – Made in U.S.A." and numbered 449-exemplifies the studio’s midcentury mastery of both anatomical realism and expressive composition.
