c. 1980s-1990s; Sarah’s Attic – Somerset, PA Set of four hand-painted resin figurines from Sarah’s Attic, including a boy in a suit playing accordion and three young children in seated or reclining poses. Each piece is cast with expressive facial detail and textured costuming-knitted socks, patched clothing, and play accessories such as alphabet blocks and books. These small-scale sculptures convey warmth and nostalgia, embodying the sentimental character for which Sarah’s Attic became known. Founded in Somerset, Pennsylvania in the early 1980s, Sarah’s Attic produced a wide range of collectible resin figures celebrated for their emotional realism and Americana storytelling style, earning a devoted following among collectors through the 1990s.
