c. 1930’s-1940’s; Chapin Mfg. Works-Batavia, NY Blue metal Chapin hand pump insect sprayer with original glass reservoir and metal cap assembly. Cylindrical body features gold lettering and branding, with plunger-style pump and wooden handle. Clear glass bottle has a textured pattern and threads cleanly into the metal head. Early manual sprayer design typical of prewar to early postwar garden and household use.
Shows surface wear to painted finish with loss to lettering, oxidation to metal components, and general age wear. Glass bottle intact with no visible cracks. Pump not tested for function.
