c. 1930s; Stanley Toy Co. – Oconto, WI (likely) Cast metal horse team toy likely manufactured by Stanley Toy Company, featuring two pairs of galloping horses mounted to yellow-painted sulky-style wheel assemblies. The horses alternate in black and cream paint schemes, each cast in a dynamic running pose with raised legs and flowing manes, connected by yellow yokes and spoked wheels. The overall construction and proportions closely align with known Stanley horse-drawn toy output from the 1930s, particularly pieces modeled after popular Arcade designs. Stanley Toy Company was active in Oconto, Wisconsin during the prewar period and is best known for its cast-metal horse teams, wagons, and carts.
