c. 1920s-1930s; Parker Brothers, Inc. – Salem, Massachusetts The original "Marty Supreme" merch. Pair of early Ping-Pong table tennis game sets produced by Parker Brothers, each retaining its original paddles, net assemblies, mounting hardware, and printed paper inserts. Both sets include multiple wooden paddles bearing Parker Brothers Ping-Pong branding, original netting with cloth edging, metal clamp hardware, and accompanying instruction and promotional pamphlets. The components reflect early 20th-century table tennis equipment, emphasizing simple construction and portability for home use. Parker Brothers popularized Ping-Pong in the United States during the early 1900s, securing trademark rights and helping standardize the game’s rules, equipment, and domestic play format during the interwar period.
Paddles are in very good condition with clean surfaces and minimal wear. Nets show fair wear with fraying, discoloration, and age-related softness. Boxes are in poor condition with heavy edge loss, tears, creasing, crushing, and previous string reinforcement; printed graphics remain partially legible.
