Tall majolica pottery umbrella stand or cane holder featuring molded foliate, geometric, and figural decoration under green, amber, and brown glazes.
c. Late 19th to Early 20th Century
Crazing is present throughout, with scattered glaze loss, chips, scratches, and surface wear, including losses around the upper and lower sections. The upper portion has substantial structural cracking, including a large U-shaped crack extending through a portion of the upper body and an additional crack extending to the rim; a wire has been wrapped around the upper section to stabilize and hold the cracked area together.
