Lot 137:
Late 20th Century Asian Inspired Framed Artworks
Description
C-22041
Pair of framed decorative artworks including the multicolored Celebrate the New Season – Spring 1993 print with East Asian-inspired figures and a portrait painted on a skeletonized leaf, likely a bodhi or peepal leaf rather than ginkgo. Both are presented under glass.
Leaf portrait frame has substantial scuffing through the black finish to exposed wood at the upper left corner but is otherwise in good condition; backing paper is torn. Celebrate the New Season is in good overall condition with a solid wood frame and cardboard backing, showing light age and handling wear.
Celebrate: 17.5" W x 24.5" H
