Medical and therapeutic equipment lot including a Cambridge Instrument Co. Simpli-Trol portable electrocardiograph, Chromaray color therapy lens set, two Carstens glass canisters labeled Applicators and Gauze, and a rubber hot water bottle. c. 1930s-1950s; Cambridge Instrument Co., Carstens and others
Electrocardiograph case and components exhibit scratches, scuffs, finish wear, oxidation, and age-related surface wear. Switches and controls move but the unit has not been tested for operation. Chromaray case exhibits edge wear, losses, staining, and deterioration; lenses exhibit surface wear and marks. Glass canisters exhibit scratches and surface wear. Rubber hot water bottle is discolored, stained, and worn from age; metal stopper can be removed and replaced. Electrical cords and leads exhibit age-related wear.
