Three-volume reference set issued as Bulletin 30 by the Bureau of American Ethnology, comprising early 20th-century scholarly studies focused on Indigenous languages, cultures, technologies, and ethnographic documentation. Bound in original olive cloth with stamped spine titles and institutional insignia, these volumes were produced as part of the Bureau’s systematic effort to record Native American life, language, and material culture during a period of rapid cultural change. Interior content includes dense academic text, photographic plates, and line illustrations documenting tools, practices, and individuals.
