Lot 471:
Description
C-20428
Heavy brass dental flask mold used in the vulcanization and forming of dentures, consisting of a three-part construction with base, ring, and top plate. The interior cavity is shaped to receive dental forms, with the top plate featuring three circular ports for venting or alignment during the molding process. The exterior shows a hand-worked, slightly irregular surface with a warm, aged patina, while the interior surfaces are smoother from repeated use. A stamped “10” mark is present on the base, likely indicating size or model within a set used by dental laboratories.
Shows moderate to heavy wear including surface oxidation, scratches, and patination consistent with age and use. Components remain intact and fit together as intended.
