Circular carved stone plate featuring a finely engraved pastoral scene of two deer beneath stylized bamboo, accompanied by vertical Chinese characters. Executed in a dark, mottled stone—likely soapstone or marble—the surface is etched to reveal pale linework that contrasts sharply against the black ground. The composition centers on a standing stag and a second deer in motion, both rendered with delicate stippling and linear detail, while the bamboo and landscape elements anchor the scene in a traditional East Asian decorative vocabulary. The calligraphic character phrase on top roughly translates to “Blessings and prosperity together in spring” or more loosely “Good fortune and abundance in harmony.”
