c. early 20th century Bentwood walking cane featuring a dark stained shaft with a curved crook handle and tapered lower section. The cane retains a simple utilitarian form associated with everyday walking sticks and gentlemen’s canes of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Pieces of this type were commonly carried both as mobility aids and as standard daily accessories.
Crack present to handle. Upper handle area shows an old repair and is missing its original metal band. Lower tip is missing its original foot ferrule. General surface wear, scratches, finish loss, and age-related wear throughout.
