Large octagonal hanging lantern constructed of heavy metal with a faceted upper canopy and vented crown. The perimeter is fitted with red embossed glass panels displaying repeating geometric patterns. The fixture retains a circular lower opening and internal electric socket assembly. The substantial construction and suspended design indicate use as a hanging architectural light fixture.
Needs electrical restoration before it can be properly installed. Sold as is. Some red glass panels are missing or broken leaving open sections around the perimeter. Surface wear, oxidation, accumulated dirt, and finish loss are present throughout. Wiring passes through an opening in the upper canopy.
