Rectangular painted coffee table with turned legs and heavily worn brown painted surface exposing lighter wood beneath. The underside retains a stamped retailer mark reading “Sold by Covey Co. … Fort Smith, Ark.” Covey Co. operated as a regional furniture and home goods retailer in Fort Smith, Arkansas, supplying practical domestic furnishings throughout the mid-20th century American South.
Obvious paint wear but no other marks.
