c. early–mid 20th century; German manufacture; Hubbell socket Porcelain figural lamp depicting a courting couple in period dress, mounted on a gilt metal base with arched support and pull-chain socket. Underside marked “Germany, ” consistent with export porcelain produced for the American market in the early 20th century. Socket marked Hubbell, an American electrical manufacturer active in early electrification of household lighting.
Untested. Wiring present with age-related wear. Surface wear, minor paint loss, and base oxidation visible. Sold as is.
