c. early 20th century; Gaston Marechaux – France Framed Art Deco style print titled “Noblesse, ” depicting a fashionable couple in a winter setting with falling snow and a distant architectural scene. The composition features stylized figures in period dress, including a top hat and full gown, rendered with flat color fields and delicate linework characteristic of early 20th century illustration. Signature visible in the lower left reading “Gaston Marechaux.” Presented under glass with a wide mat and wood frame, with retailer label on verso indicating an art store at 19 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago.
Shows moderate wear consistent with age, including toning and spotting to the mat and print surface. Frame exhibits wear and finish loss. Backing paper shows tears and losses. Overall displays well with visible age-related character
