c. 1940s-1950s. Mid Century folding doll carriage by Welsh, labeled "Easy Fold Carriage, " featuring a riveted steel scissor frame that expands to support a suspended red vinyl seat. The design is purely functional, with a lightweight collapsible structure allowing it fold flat for storage. Four spoked metal wheels with rubber tires provide stability, while the handle offers easy push control. A metal rear step plate is mounted between the back wheels, typical of period toy stroller design. Manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri.
Shows consistent with age. Seat is fraying, seam separation, and staining. Metal frame exhibits oxidation, surface rust, and finish wear throughout. Wheels remain intact and appear functional with expected wear. Maker tag is worn but still readable.
