Compact parlor stand with a shaped clover-form top, single drawer, turned spindle legs, and a cross-stretcher base terminating in pointed feet. The lively quarter-sawn oak grain carries strong flecking across the top, while the undulating edge profile and turned details lean into the decorative sensibilities of late Victorian and early parlor furniture. A shallow drawer beneath the top adds a functional element suited for letters, sewing accessories, or calling cards.
Surface wear to the top, and the strap that once attached the drawer to the table has broken. The drawer still sits nicely under the table in the grooves and can be pulled in and out easily.
