Lot consists of assorted vintage kitchen and utility paring knives with wood handles, including examples marked Frontier Brand, Ontario Knife Co., Old Hickory, Shapleigh’s Hammer Forged No. 1943, and Forgecraft, together with three rectangular sharpening stones. Various blade profiles, handle styles, and maker marks are represented. Produced by various manufacturers, primarily United States and Japan, c. 1930s-1970s.
Knives exhibit oxidation, discoloration, sharpening wear, edge wear, and handle wear consistent with age and use. Sharpening stones show surface wear, chipping, staining, and accumulated residue. One knife handle has a wrapped repair. Manufacturer markings are worn or partially obscured on several examples.
