This is an original advertising trade card for the Chicago Tribune, attractively matted in red and framed in wood for display. The lithographed scene depicts a fashionable man and woman buying papers from newsboys, with the slogan "Only 3 Cts." showcasing late 19th-century newspaper marketing style.
Shows light toning and minor wear to the trade card image consistent with age. The frame has some scuffs and surface wear. This piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
