This framed ornate chromolithographed advertising calendar was issued by the Heydt Bakery Company of St. Louis for the year 1906. The piece features a richly illustrated scene of a smiling newsboy seated atop a wooden crate, surrounded by the twelve monthly calendar pads and lush Victorian-style drapery motifs. Topped with a "Season’s Greeting 1906" header, this striking example of turn-of-the-century promotional ephemera is presented in a decorative gold frame with filigree corner accents.
Light wear to surface and edges. This piece has not been inspected outside of the frame.
