Primitive cast-iron hand-crank apple peeler. Early mechanical kitchen tool featuring interlocking gearwork mounted on a hardwood base, designed to core, peel, and slice apples with a hand-turned crank. This example retains its original forked prongs and peeling arm, showcasing utilitarian craftsmanship with exposed gear teeth and robust cast-iron construction typical of turn-of-the-century food preparation equipment.
