Description
C-14262
Midcentury Mickey Mouse Club tambourine from the 1950s, produced at the height of the original TV show’s popularity. This lightweight children’s instrument features a printed paper top with the smiling face of Mickey Mouse inside a red bullseye, surrounded by the words "MICKEY MOUSE CLUB" and "MOUSEKETEERS" in period-styled type. The design is attributed to Walt Disney Productions, with the classic copyright insignia visible near Mickey’s neck. The tambourine’s body is formed from rolled metal with a red enamel-like finish, and is fitted with three pairs of polished tin jingles. The back is covered in heavy cardstock, giving it a lightweight, playable construction typical of mid-century toy percussion instruments.
This tambourine is in great condition with original paint and decals being bright and sharp. There is a slight bend in the cardboard, and some light scuffing of the paint on the metal housing. Please refer to photos regarding condition.
