Description

C-14259

c. 1960s; SSS International – Japan Friction-powered plastic touring car with horn, complete with original box. Produced by SSS International during the golden age of Japanese tin and plastic toys, this "Rambling Roadster" captures the spirit of 1920s motoring in lightweight plastic. The cream body is accented by black fenders, a gold-tone grille, and a red interior-elements evocative of an early open-top roadster. Spoked wheels and a front plate marked "S-1925" add period-style charm. When pulled back, the friction motor drives the car forward and triggers a cheerful horn sound-typical of SSS’s playful engineering. The car comes with its original illustrated cardboard box, printed with the SSS "Quality Toys" logo, model number S-1323, and "Made in Japan." A nostalgic, display-ready piece from Japan’s postwar toy boom.

The box shows moderate edge wear is visible but all panels remain intact and legible. The toy vehicle is in gerat shape with minor scuffs to the paint around the hood corners and passenger door. Please refer to photos regarding condition.

Box is 10.5" L x 4.5" W x 4" L
