This antique Elgin National Watch Company tin originally held one dozen "Resilient Main Springs, " No. 817, sized 16S with 3/4 plate height. The pale green tin features classic black and gold typography along with an engraved-style illustration of a winged figure holding a pocket watch. Manufactured in Elgin, Illinois, this piece represents the precision craftsmanship of one of America’s most famous watchmakers.
Shows moderate surface wear, scratches, and light scuffing consistent with age and handling.
