This vintage medicinal tin features classic blue lithographed graphics with a central portrait and decorative scrollwork reading "Brater’s Powder for Spasms of Asthma – Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." Manufactured by the The John K. Brater Company of Brooklyn, New York, the mixture originally contained stramonium, lobelia, and saltpetre. This empty tin comes with the classic hinged-lid design.
Shows age-appropriate wear with scratches, small scuffs, and light paint loss consistent with age and storage.
