This antique porcelain pipe holder features a figural design of a laughing man’s head with a wide open mouth to hold the pipe bowl. Hand-painted details include bright facial accents in green, red, and orange, with expressive, caricature-style features typical of early 20th-century European novelty ceramics.
Shows scattered paint loss, a chip on the forehead and mouth, and surface wear consistent with age.
